Distance: 6.2 miles
Elevation: Approximately 2900 feet
Our Time: 3.5 hours

Adventurer Insight: Don’t let the word “easiest” fool you. These are still 4000+ foot summits with a few thousand feet of climb. Although easier than some surrounding mountains, this is a steady climb from parking lot to summit, so follow your own pace. On the other hand, this should be quick work for the experienced, conditioned hiker as evidenced by our time of completion. Arrive early. This is arguably the most popular Adirondack hike and parking fills up quickly along Route 73.
